1. Electro, automation and instrument engineer

MAIN FUNCTIONS AND TASKS:

• Prepare technical documentation for E / I systems and technical requisitions for purchases for our pump systems which include:

1. Technical knowledge for electric motors, both low voltage and high voltage motors
2. Technical knowledge of generator operation
3. Technical knowledge of transformer operation
4. Technical understanding of PLC systems
5. Technical knowledge of cable installation for both electrical and Instrumentation

• Comment on documentation from suppliers on the above packages and ensure that the information in these documents is distributed to the right people in the project.
• Follow up the deliveries specified above in relation to time and quality and have the technical responsibility for these. Including necessary testing at suppliers with or without the customer as a witness.
• Participate in technical and commercial clarification meetings with customers and suppliers where required.
• Participate in hazard and operability study (HAZOP) and other quality and safety assurance activities in the project.
• Produce relevant project documents (Defined in the project).
• Participate in own testing of the above packages; internal test and with customer (Factory Acceptance Test).
• Assist and operate the control system during pump testing

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Theoretical education at a minimum BCs engineering level
• Knowledge of public requirements and regulations and offshore standards
• Lack of education can be compensated by long relevant experience and professional insight
• Minimum 2 years relevant experience
• ATEX or IECEx experience
• Automation experience in programming and testing PLC systems (Allen Bradley, ABB, Siemens or others)
• Experience from diesel engines is an advantage
• Good collaboration skills / communication skills
• Fluent in English language
• Solution-oriented and structured
• Have a strong focus on cost-effective solutions
